This Privacy Policy explains what Gorman Field Services, LLC collects when you use CalcDesk, the free tools published at tgorman.com (including the LBR Viewer), and this site itself. GridTally and Postail have their own privacy policies at gridtally.com/privacy and postail.app/privacy.
What we collect
- Email address — to create your access, authenticate you, and contact you about your subscription.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number; we receive limited billing metadata (e.g., subscription status).
- Access token — stored locally in your browser so you stay signed in to the calculator. It is not a tracking cookie.
- Basic technical logs — standard request logs used to operate and secure the service.
- Contact form — the name, email address and message you type into the form on tgorman.com are emailed to us and used only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list.
- Anonymous page views — our pages, including the LBR Viewer at lbr.tgorman.com, use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites.
- Files you open in the LBR Viewer are never collected. They are read in your own browser and never uploaded — there is no server to upload them to, and nothing about them is included in the page-view count.
How we use it
To provide and secure CalcDesk, verify your subscription, process billing through Stripe, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share with
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the site and API, and cookieless page-view analytics.
These providers process data on our behalf to run the service.
Data retention and your choices
We keep subscription and contact records as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@tgorman.com. Cancelling your subscription stops future billing; you can clear the local access token by signing out or clearing your browser storage.
Children
CalcDesk is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; changes are posted here with a new date.
